International Journal of Nano Science and Engineering (IJNSE)

The International Journal of Nano Science and Engineering (IJNSE) is a devoted scientific journal that publishes high quality research output in the fields of Nanosciences and Nanoengineering. It is published by The International Association for Sharing Knowledge and Sustainability (IASKS).

Aims and Scope:

The International Journal of Nano Science and Engineering is an international and interdisciplinary peer reviewed journal. The journal aims to integrate high quality contributions form scientists and engineers alike into a single source of information that serves broad scientific audience. The journal publishes original full research articles, short communications for rapid print of research findings, and review articles. The Journal will also print special reports that feature recent discoveries with potential impact or commentary on a state-of-the-art contribution reported in the scientific literature. The journal anticipates contributions in the synthesis, fabrication, characterization and applications of nanomaterials and nanosystems, molecular simulations and nano-x (nano-physics, nano-chemistry, nanotubes, nano-biotechnology, nano-medicine, nano-optics, etc.)

Manuscript Preparation:

Submission of papers: Online: Only electronic online submission will be considered. All authors are required match the journal paper format which is available at The manuscript must be written in MS Word Format. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail, removing the need for a hard-copy paper trail. Authors are also requested to download, complete, sign, and send back by e-mail the copyright form, which can be downloaded from

Types of contributions: Original research papers, short communications and review articles.

Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who is responsible for correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, including post-publication. Ensure that telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Full postal addresses must be given for all co-authors.

Original material: Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher. Authors found to be deliberately contravening the submission guidelines on originality and exclusivity shall not be considered for future publication in this journal.

Manuscript Preparation:

General: Editors reserve the right to adjust style to certain standards of uniformity. Original manuscripts are discarded after publication unless the Publisher is asked to return original material after use. Only online submission is permitted through the journal website. Please use MS Word for the text of your manuscript.

Structure: Follow the provided template at when preparing your manuscripts.

Text Layout: Include tables and figures inside the manuscript as camera ready even during the first time submission. In order to reduce the size of the electronic files authors are encouraged to insert their figures in jpg format.

Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who is responsible for correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, including post-publication. The corresponding author should be identified with an asterisk and footnote. Ensure that telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Full postal addresses must be given for all co-authors. Please consult a recent journal paper for style if possible.

Abstract: A self-contained abstract outlining in a single paragraph the aims, scope and conclusions of the paper must be supplied.

Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a minimum of three keywords (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of'). Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible.

Symbols: All Greek letters and unusual symbols should be identified by name in the margin, the first time they are used.

Units: Follow internationally accepted rules and conventions: use the international system of units (SI). If other quantities are mentioned, give their equivalent in SI.

List: Number the references (numbers in square brackets) in the list in the order in which they appear in the text. Examples:
