3rd International Conference on Nanotechnology

The International Association for Sharing Knowledge and Sustainability (IASKS) and the Faculty of Engineering at UAE University in collaboration with the Arab Academy of Science and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization cordially invite you to participate in the 3rd International Conference on Nanotechnology that will be held at the United Arab Emirates University during 28-30 November 2011.

Objective
The conference aims at providing a venue to gather researchers and scientists to assess Nano and Micro technologies for emerging applications and its prospects in the region. The conference will also provide a venue for entrepreneurs and venture capitals to discuss collaborative research and business developments. Conference attendees will receive a copy of the proceedings that contains all accepted papers. Scientific papers submitted to ICN11 conference will follow a peer-review procedure. The accepted papers will be published at the International Journal on Nano Science and Engineering. Training and workshops sessions will also be held.


Scope
The conference offers the opportunity to share research results, discuss new technologies and expose start-up ventures. The conference will integrate three distinct themes (a) Emerging research that focuses on the applications of Micro and Nano technologies, (b) Venture investment that takes the results from the laboratory to the product and (c) University and research agencies that foster the development of feasibility studies at its institutions. Both oral presentations and posters will be considered. Papers are solicited in all areas of Nanotechnology, Microtechnology and Biotechnology.

Original, unpublished papers are solicited for presentation at the conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit electronically (via email or online). All authors are required match the journal paper format which is available at

The manuscript must be written in MS Word Format. Authors are also requested to download, complete, sign, and send back by e-mail the copyright form, which can be downloaded from

Conference attendees will receive a copy of the proceeding that contains all accepted papers. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present the paper.

The Canadian International Association for Sharing Knowledge and Sustainability is organizing an exhibition that
will be held in parallel with the International Conference on Nanotechnology. Companies and organizations who
